The HID Signo™ Keypad Reader 40K is part of HID’s advanced Signo platform, designed to deliver secure, flexible, and future-ready access control. Ideal for multi-factor authentication, this slim keypad reader supports a wide range of credential technologies and form factors, including cards, key fobs, and mobile devices.
It features Bluetooth® and NFC for HID Mobile Access, along with Apple Enhanced Contactless Polling (ECP) for credentials stored in Apple Wallet. Built on secure element hardware, it protects cryptographic keys and includes smart surface detection to automatically optimize read range performance.
Each reader can be configured with multiple credential formats, color options, and mounting or wiring setups to match your installation needs. With out-of-the-box OSDP support and remote management capabilities, the 40K reduces the need for on-site maintenance while providing a simple, future-ready upgrade path.
